About NetBSD/mipsco

NetBSD/mipsco is a port of NetBSD to the MIPS Computer Systems Inc. family of workstations and servers. The Mips Magnum 3000 was a popular workstation that was re-badged by companies such as Bull and Olivetti.

NetBSD 3.1, the first maintenance release of the netbsd-3 release branch, has been released with binary distributions for 53 architectures. More information is available in the 3.1 release announcement.

2001-05-25:   New -current snapshot available

A new -current snapshot based on NetBSD 1.5V is available in the NetBSD/mipsco snapshot area of the ftp server.

This release includes an installation kernel with the NetBSD sysinst utility to simplify installations.
